Hi everyone!. My IR2 application is almost done, i think. i successfully completed my interview in Naples.

a few days ago i picked up my passport with the I-552 stamp and the sealed envelope. I'm so happy! :D

However, i've got some questions: How long does it take for the green card to arrive from the moment that i'll enter in the US? (i'm still in Italy.)

After i'll enter the US, is there any other medical visit or burocratic stuff i have to do?

Did your petitioner pay the $165 immigrant fee already? If not, pay it now.

The GC will come 1 month or more after POE.

If the Social Security card doesn't come in 2 weeks after POE, go to the nearest SSA office and apply. Bring passport and original Birth Certificate.

Aside from those, there's nothing more to do with the government, immigration wise. You can apply for your driver's license and state ID at DMV.
