All im missing for my case to be complete is for the NVC to review my civil documents (which will be in 15 days) and also the Affidavit. Everything else is completed and payed for. However I send the affidavit to them in Feb 2015 and they still havn't reviewed it. I called the NVC last week and the nice lady told me it was weird that nobody has reviewed it considering it's been a really long time. She said she was going to send it to her supervisor to look at. But my question is when should i call to ask if they reviewed it yet? She didn't tell me when I can call back or how many days to give them. Has this happen to anybody else? it's been 4 months since i send the affidavit to them and i received an email 60 days letter that said that the only thing missing was my bank statement. i send that right away in April.

Update !

So I just got off the phone with NVC and the guy told me that my affidavit has been reviewed already and that it won't appear online until everything else is completed. That they don't really put that on the status case. I told him that it says N/A in the affidavit section as well as my civil papers. But I send the civil papers 3 weeks ago. And the affidavit back in February. They don't really put it online they just use that to inform us about fees being completed he said. He also said once they review my civil papers then everything else will say completed (if they don't need me to send anything else). And the case will be completed. Is this true?? I'm really confuse because I thought these were step by steps thing and once they finish reviewing something they would update the case and say completed instead of N/A and then move on to the next item like civil papers.

My friend has his status on NVC site updated every month

they have never updated mine even though our interview is schedules in 30 days

Must make a difference on who works the case

my status still says follow instructions received from NVC

others I check say interview is scheduled and actually put a date on the site
