I just sent an email off requesting for our case to be expedited! It may not be, for our reasons, but it can never hurt to ask. I know the NVC is probably tired of both myself and my sponsor calling, but I asked a few minutes ago what to do to have a case expedited and so I just sent the email off. Hoping, things speed up whether they accept or deny our request.

It was nvcexpedite@state.gov. Is that the email address they gave you? I am hoping that is right. My connection was not good on the call & my children were talking at the same time. I was told it could take up to two months to process the request, but I am hoping not, because we are hoping to be in the US by then.

If you aren't already aware of this, NVC is merely a paper-pushing office. They will forward the request and your reson for it to the Embassy, which will decide whether to approve the request to expedite or not. Some Embassys are faster in responding to the request than others and some are more willing/able to accomodate a request given the particular Embassy's workload. Good luck!

I emailed all the documents for expedite my case on last Friday as I'm stuck at nvc for more then 2 months after filling ds260!!! By now just got a confirmation email from nvc that they received and its under review. Has anyone have any ideas like how long it could take for approval or denial latter? I'm so frustrated! !!! Dont know why they taking so long for me as I can see other people getting cc in just few weeks!

I had called NVC to ask about why myself (the petitioner) or our agent still could not pay the second fee DS-261 fee (not the agent one, but the other), since every time we are told keep trying & it should work in a couple of days or by next week & it never does. So I asked about getting a case expedited & she said it could take up to 2 months! :crying: I am really hoping not, because I am hoping we will be in the US by then. Hoping and praying they decide to expedite our case.
