We Got Approved!!!!! Now What Do We Do!?!?!?

So after a lonnnnng wait, I am still overwhelemed with emotion to know that we have finally been approved. My question now is what happens from here? I know i must send my finace a complete copy of my package that I sent and the Hard Copy of the NOA2. I have always read the K-1 Guides. However, i can't seem to find any infor on how the Ethiopian Embassy handles interviews. I want us to be prepared. Also what should I expect to get in the mail, how long is the process from here? All information will be helpful!!! Thanks in Advance!!!!!

Thanks for providing the info...I checked out both links .Usually does the petitioner recieve Packet 3? Also do I continue to use USCIS website to track my case or when I get my hard copy I will wait for the case number and track through NVC? Lol last question being that my embassy schedules the interview date can I get medical done early or I need the packet first?

Your fiancé will receive package 3 (information on what to bring to the interview & medical form etc).... Once you get your case number from NVC then you could start tracking it from the NVC status check to see when it shows "ready" because that's when the embassy would received it. My fiancé had to have a interview date before he was allowed to book his medical, so I'm not sure if all the consulates does the same thing, but just email the embassy requesting package 3 after they received so you'll have all the information on what to do next congrats once again!

So far I have my wedding dress and we plan to have a small ceremony with my family but haven't booked a place because we are unsure of the time everything takes.

Your letter should arrive in 7 days & yes the A number should be on the letter, but only the case number you'll need to track your case once it leaves NVC. You'll get an update when USCIS sends your petition to NVC, then you may start calling.

If you have evidence of planning your wedding then great, but my fiancé wasn't asked anything pertaining to our wedding at the interview

The Alien-Number will be printed on the NOA-2. We received our paper copy 6 days after the email notification. And now we wait to be forwarded to NVC. It is day 11 and our status online has not been updated yet.I'll probably give it until the end of the week and the start calling NVC anyway.

Ok cool.i I got my hard copy in the mail tuesday and I did see the alien number... I am planning to mail my fiancé a copy of the original petition,affidavit,employment letter,tax returns,and proof of ongoing relationship.do I now just keep checking USCIS website ? I need my case number to do Ds-160 right ?

No, the case number on the DS-160 is the SRC number. You may need your NVC number for the medical and certainly for tracking the visa process on CEAC. (i.e. post interview)
