The Visa number should be located on lower right area of passport and in "RED" letters.

In my wife's K-1 entry stamp, there was no A number written in. I would recommend in order to be safe, check the NOA2 (I-129F) approval letter to see if it matches what the officer wrote. You should see the A-number listed in NOA2 and will need to put it down on the I-485 application.
