Just a little "fine tuning" after "AT NVC"... "IN TRANSIT" means that NVC has entered your packet into the DHL system. Your status will stay "IN TRANSIT" while your packet is still physically at NVC

Had my visa interview today and got approved! Praise the Lord!

Congratulation DR678, my husband when to interview on Tuesday SL he didnt get the approved he got yellow slip. :crying:

Awww, any specific reason? ?if you dont mind me asking. and thank you if you share.

I register my appointment online and select the courier location :):):):):)

Hi! Could you clarify something for me? I thought we had to wait until paper work got to embassy/consulate before registering, no? Thank you, and congrats!!!

Even I got a yellow paper but mine says that it's approved and gives me the date I need to collect my passport.

i don't think so when i put my information my appointment came up and it gives me an option to register for courier as well. My ceac status still shows at NVC that's confusing.

Hmmm I'm sorry. I wish I knew what that meant but since there's no specific reason given I'm drawing a question mark too...

But you're right about faith. It's the only thing that kept me going so just keep praying that it will all work itself out.

does anyone know what the ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENT is that I received a 'J' on my interview letter for?

yeh its just basically your canadian passport - its basically like what proof do you have that you are eligible to apply from canada. Its really confusing I had to ring NVC and that is what they said and that it confuses people a lot!

Hmmmm... not able to register my appointment yet...... I expect I should be able to tomorrow....

Any of the Canadians waiting, anyone thinking of calling NVC (ha!) to see when they are shipping our files to Montreal ;)
