i will say a bit of worry keeps you sharp at the interview it will take 10 to 15 mintes of interviewing timing.lets put it this way my friend if you have nothing wrong with you.and you are what you have on the papers and dont worry about small things you dont want to be negative that is it bro.just make sure you have good rest the night b4 the interview.there is a little waiting game b4 the interview be calm help people how needed help and are waiting with you b4 you get on shuttle and when you are at the embassy and will take hopefully no longer the 30 mints for you interview.be nice dont forget to smile there you go b4 you know you will her them say sir/madam we have approved your visa and you will get a call within a month maybe soon to colect your passpot with your visa on it.mine took 2months but they head some issue with the system so i forgive them for that.trust it inshallah all will go well.and one more thing very best of luck with you interview

To tell u People a Truth....

Islamabad Embassy Guys already decided about ur result before the interview.....they mark u red or green before the interview....if u r red and even if u take all the necessary Documents to embassy also....they will make Drama and ask abt any unexpected document....or they will say all is ok we just need some more time...

and if u r green, ur interview will be a piece of cake...

but it doesn't mean u should be less prepared.....bringing ur spouse to interview really helps.

Well, personally, in our case, the officer was about to reject us, but based on documents that we submitted at the interview, and not before, as evidence, he gave us the visas. He actually started saying, I'm afraid I can't issue..., when my husband interrupted him and said, we also have this, and this, etc. So don't be disheartened, people. The interview does have some value, beyond what they have decided about your case before the interview ever began, if they have, indeed.

I think you are right. Even though our interview was in a separate place, I think front-loading our petition was helpful. If the evidence isn't in the packet before, they question more and I don't think they have a lot of time on interview day to check any evidence. If they keep any evidence, they probably look at it again several weeks later. They only looked at our FB messages, and didn't even accept our phone records and Skype logs. My fiance got fewer questions - just the basics and why did our messaging start.

Put a lot of evidence in the petition when submitting it to USCIS, but after that, make all evidence as simple and quick to look at.

Signature coming soon...

u didn't understand what i was saying...there are 2 types of cases.

one is bonafide marriage like urs....and at the time of interview if u lack anything like any certificate etc they will ask and if u provide them at spot they will issue ur visa and if u even not provide them u can send them later and they will issue ur visa as soon as possible.

2nd type of cases are those people who did just Nikaah but not rukhsati....and these cases are suspicious and if they decided not to give u visa they willn't give u...no matter what u provide them... and u know they do extensive research by going to ur street abt ur background and ur status of maarriage.

Hi All - Had my interview at the US Embassy in Islamabad yesterday for FB-1, & was approved. Just checked today and the status of CEAC is issued. Consular officer did tell me that I should have my passport with the visa by this Friday. Just waiting on my passport and then will finally GO BACK HOME AFTER 10 LONG YEARS!!

Interview Questions:

1. Who is your petitioner & their DOB?

Answer: My Mom and her DOB is: xx-xx-xxxx

2. What will you do when you get to the States?

Answer: I will work for XXX company & here is my offer letter for X position with an annual salary of $ XX.

Officer: Excellent, you already have a job waiting for you, I like it! You've been approved and will get your passport back by Friday with the visa. I can see from your file that you left the USA in 2005 and well it's 2015 and it's about time you get to go back home, this time Legally! Congratulations!

That was it, interview did lost last for more than 5 minutes! :D

Super Excited!!!
