Hello every one i am in the philippines i am schedule for an interview already in the us embassy already! my question is

about the medical test , on the us embassy paper it says that i need to do the med test 1 week before my sked date. but on the st .luke s website it says that it should be two weeks before? so im confused now Pls Pls !! if anyone can help me !! Thank You !!!

1 or 2 weeks doesn't matter, slec won't say anything or reprimand you if it's only a week away from the interview. The exam is a two day process, if all goes well you can have you medical result on the second day, and if not and won't make it for the interview slec will reschedule it for you. Don't panic, you can schedule it a week before :)

It's more fun in the Philippines, where lack of communication is key here.

I would follow the USEM website and directions, Do not follow St. Lukes or CFO direction, they are Philippines based.....

The best rule of thumb is to do your medical 1 to 2 weeks out from your USEM interview which gives SLEC plenty of time to complete your exam results and have them forward to USEM (most times you will carry them but we have seen it both ways). The reason why you don't want to go too much further out then 2 weeks is because your visa validity date is tied to the medical exam and not to the visa issuance date. Your six months window to get to the US starts when you have your medical.
