Hey guys,

So I haven't really checked my case status on CEAC too often, but tonight I did, it said this:

Immigrant Visa Case Number: XXXXXXXXXXXXX Case Creation Date: 21-Apr-2015 Status Updated Date: 04-May-2015
Your case is ready for you to schedule an interview at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal. If you have already scheduled an interview appointment, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the Consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: website lol
Am I getting too excited over nothing, since for some reason though it's been 10 days I haven't received an email about Packet 4 yet this is saying go ahead and schedule?....
Any clarification would be appreciated

K1 Visa Timeline 01/30/2015- Engaged02/20/2015- I-129F petition filed03/12/2015- NOA 1 received04/02/2015- NOA 2 received!04/24/2014- Case sent from NVC to Consulate in Montreal04/27/2015- Called NVC to receive Case #05/04/2015- Emailed/mailed Packet 3 to Montreal05/13/2015- Consulate received Packet 305/20/2015- Packet 4 email06/12/2015- Medical06/25/2015- Interview-APPROVED07/08/2015- Visa issued07/14/2015- Visa in hand07/20/2015- POE Sarnia/Port Huron border<p>08/14/2015- wedding!

September 2015- Applied for AOS

September 30th- Biometrics Appointment

November 2015- Advanced Parole/ Employment Authorization Received

its just said your case is ready, you still need to wait for an email from the embassy for the interview, for me the embassy scheduled the interview for me, so im guessing you need to wait for your interview appointement

k1 in Canada schedule their own appointments.

I sent my Packet 3 email on May 4th, so I guess I just have to wait for their reply lol. I was hopeful for a second that I may be able to schedule lol

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Would love to know if you heard back from Montreal. Just posted something similar and tried to call NVC but they didn't have much info. Did you wait for them to email Packet 3 or did you just send it to them?? I'm anxious to move onto the next step. Did you pay your ds160 and send off he checklist? Let me know if you hear anything, I'm at the same consulate!:)

In regards to packet 3, I just downloaded the forms online myself and sent them off since there is nothing in packet 3 that you can't get online lol. I already paid my application fee and then I went ahead and mailed the checklist as well as emailed a scanned copy. Apparently you don't have to mail the checklist, but I did just to be safe.

I did all this on May 4th and have yet to hear anything from the consulate. Sigh. I'm hoping I hear something soon. At this point once you email all the stuff for packet 3 that's all you can do, wait.
