I believe that since it is in the process... turning 21 shouldn't be a problem.. But don't hold me to it.. best if you call NVC for clearification.. Bad news is that the NVC is pretty much shut down for processing right now... The computers have been down now for over 3 weeks and no end in sight so once it hits the NVC you are likely to be there for a while. As for getting it expidited? I highly doubt it! not for the reasons you stated

Best of luck!

you can ask NVC to connect all the petitions together for interview when your mom"s case reaches NVC after approval from USCIS. Meanwhile you can slow down your process at NVC by taking time to submit documents and filling out application forms(DS 260)till the time your mom's case is approved at USCIS . you can delay the process for one year but hopefully your mother will be approved in few months. What was RFE by the way and did you submit the required information/document?

They asking about photocopy for my father passport !

ya, that's an RFE - they wanted to prove up his USCitizenship.

NVC can join up the casefiles so that all humans interview same day, but what will you tell your mother if you cannot travel with her?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
