Hello Guys,

My parents landed in united states in last week on F4 brothers and sisters category as their visa is getting expired on 25th may if they don't come here. They are planning to go back because my mother is retiring after one year from government service in india so she gets full benefits after retirement. My question is that how to file extension of 2 yrs because if we don't file an extension then they have to comeback after 11 months.

I've started filling form i-131 but I'm confused in Advance parole document and Re-entry permit. Which option I've to select Re-entry permit or advance parole document ?? What is difference between them ?? Thanks in advance. I really appreciate it.

If they came on F4 they will receive their green cards the process for re-entry should be used. They will have to stay here to finish that application as they will have to do biometrics. After they do that they can leave. All in all it'll take a few months.
