AOS and IV Package Document Cover Sheets

I am filling out the almost identical Document Cover Sheets (Feb. 19, 2015) for the I-864 and the IV package and I have to say I really don't understand them.

It appears that almost everything needed for the I - 864 is also required in the IV Package. This would mean that you have identical information in two packages or do you use the documentation cover sheet list and break it up into only AOS file and then the Support file even though it appears to read differently.

Additionally at the bottom of both sheets is a space to check "photo copies" so in effect that would make 4 copies of every document and supporting letter etc.?

HELP! I know even the question is confusing.

I used the Welcome Letter Cover Sheet checklist....everything was assembled into one package. I did not have anything to put for the photocopy section so I put not applicable.

I was wondering the same thing jiindy. And many things have already been sent through USCIS, like the marriage license. Are you sending a copy of the marriage license again or just assuming they have it since it's already been sent with the I-130 petition?

Thanks folks for your replies however I am still very confused because the questions I find are very ambiguous,.even tax forms are easier to figure out.

M76, as to the marriage certificates etc- I do understand that one -so yes i have sent them another certificate, my question is though how many copies on each package do they want?

As you see from my original question above...

" Additionally at the bottom of both sheets is a space to check "photo copies" so in effect that would make 4 copies of every document and supporting letter etc.?"

Hope someone can give me a definitive answer on this.

This was another site re the CR/1 applications...

"Photocopies of all the documents in the package. Yes, they make you send a copy of everything because I guess the $400 fee they charge isn't enough to pay for their own copy machine."

So maybe this is the correct answer unless someone knows differently.

You only to send in one copy of the requirements. for aos you need 1 copy of aos documents For iv you need one copy of civil documents send both together as one packet.

You can use one cover sheet or include a coversheet for each

i sent the packets together each with a cover sheet i use the aos cover sheet for each one and kept them separated in envelope

Okay you send 1 photocopy of every civil document on the list. Birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate, etc... You also send the AOS package (with original I-864) at the same time (which is why there is a "document cover sheet" which covers everything you need to send in the single package.

You bring the originals to interview.

You need 1 photocopy of everything, and 1 original of everything. If you want make a photocopy of the I-864 and AOS package for yourself.
