What day is day 90?

It is the processing time for EAD and AP. Between 70-90 days from the filing date (without receiving RFE).

Applicants are encourage to call USCIS if there has been no update/decision on their applications outside processing time (after 90 days).

Hi it's my 110days of waiting lol but just today j received an email from USCIS that I'm scheduled for an interview on September 10. It's a mix emotion coz I'm happy if we pass the interview I'll received my green card sooner but if I failed I don't know what to do lol... As of now no update with my AP and EAD.

2 days ago I called USCIS and spoke with tier2. I asked him current status and he said that wait until 2months form June 22(request for RFE received) then I asked him again on what documents should I present when I pass through an immigrant inspection(somewhat like boarder inspection) coz where near in boarder of Mexico and where planing to so to San Antonio Texas. Going to San Antonio form here, we are going to pass an inspection. Then tier 2 rep said I don't know what that is but you should present a bonafide marriage then he got a bit mad and keep on telling the info about having bonafide marriage. (then I think, he din't get me maybe his thinking an interview) and now that I'm scheduled for an interview, is it just a coincident Lol

Before I saw someone posted regarding her interview.. Can anyone give me an advice on what to bring and what are the common questions.. TIA

Congratulations Kabayan! Wow there is no reason for you not to pass the interview. Just prepare the usual paperworks (joint bank statements, photos, insurance, utility bills, etc) and be prepared and everything is going to be alright.

As for the question during an interview, nobody really knows as IO interviews are all different in how they conduct the interview. Some will be strict. Some will be nice and friendly.

Looks like youre going to get your Green Card first before your EAD/AP, which you dont really need when you have your Green Card.

Oh great! Just what I needed! I'm tired of waiting, I feel like a lion in a cage... I am one of those people who don't feel accomplished without a job, unfortunately. Tired of being financially dependent on my husband, unable to contribute.

Thanks for that info, by the way!

Hey guys! So I am a part of the May 2015 AOS filers from a K1 and so far my husband and I think that we are on the right path. USCIS has received my application last May 26, 2015. I have finished my Biometrics last June 17, 2015 and since then it has been nothing... I check my case at the USCIS website for info or changes and the info I have been getting had been the same since May 26. I have not received any other letter or RFE letters so I checked you guys here to understand if it is normal to receive nothing and see no activity online. I freaked out when I noticed that most of you guys have received another form of communication aside from the Biometrics letter- RFE, EAD/AP approval, etc... I called them yestreday and the representative I talked to advised me to call again after 75 days, that would be on Monday. My whole conscious mind has been telling me to be more patient and call them again after 90 days but for some reason I feel a bit scared thinking I might get an RFE or something more negative because those can come anywhere at anytime.

I guess, I just need sympathitic ears and advice to make me more patient.

Have a nice day guys!

Thanks kabayan lol oh as of now we don't have joint bank account so now that's on top of our list. Regarding utility bills all are under his name coz he rent the apartment before I arrived here. however, I also signed on the the lease contract. I also don't have insurance yet coz my husband said his insurance next enrollment for dependent is on October. So all in all what I'll be having on the interview are pictures, lease contract and joint account. Would that be suffice?

Thanks for the reply and congratulation and good luck on the coming interview! I'll be more patient like how you have been then and hopefully after a couple more days receive the same good news you have just received. I have been very vigilant in checking the mail everyday for any letter from USCIS because I want to get a state ID as soon as possible. I really wish to get a driver's licensed asap. It's no fun being a hermit in your own apartment/city and being not able to get a sandwich you have been craving for, vegetable you need for lunch or coffee anytime you want.

:D

I totally understand your frustration Kabayan. Lots of waiting and tons of patience are needed when dealing with USCIS. It is all part of it. It is a good thing that you dont have any RFE. You dont want that. It will only delay the whole process. Delay means more waiting. Just hang in on there :)
