From what we just experienced, no hardcopies will go in the mail to the beneficiary. The beneficiary will recdeive an email with instructions of what needs to be done but that may take a week or a little more. They can always write to the embassy with the case number; you may also need your invoice id # which you can get from the NVC. Good luck!

I just got an interview date. In the list of documents to bring, they say that the Colombian police certificate I sent was a copy. I printed it from online, the 'antecedentes judiciales' https://antecedentes.policia.gov.co:7005/WebJudicial/antecedentes.xhtml. How can I get an original?

Make sure to mention this in the September interviews thread and that you are added to the spreadsheet.

My wife went to the local police office in her city and received an official copy of the police certificate. I guess that worked as the "original" that the embassy required.

Hello all -

Has anyone used "Antecedentes judiciales" from online without a problem? That is also what I was planning to use for my husband for his Colombian police certificate. I'm getting ready to send in his IV packet in the next few weeks to the NVC.

We had our interview august 15 it was very easy. Remember everyone. After the nvc sends an interview date, create an account at the Bogota Embassy website and schedule your fingerprints.
