Hi All,

Query- How to change Agent on form DS 261 once it's submitted?

Recently, applicant filled out DS-261 form for Choice Of Agent, however instead of selecting third party agent, applicant selected himself as Agent and provided U.S address for correspondence.
Please advise how to change Agent on Ds-261 form? We have already paid fees for both forms.
Help will be highly appreciated!

If applicant can receive email correspondence from nvc, why try to change things to make it more complicated. Third party is lawyer then you can email your lawyer all info. As long as adress, email, other info is correct and retriving nvc invoices is not a problem then keep as it is.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/01/2015 - I-130 Approved

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

I selected myself(applicant) as choice of agent and input my non-US address in Nigeria.

Hope that's OK?

So far I've been receiving further instructions via email and paid both AOS, IV Fees and completed form DS260

NVC correponds mainly thru email so the physical mailing address becomes "useless". Don't stress about it.

Thanks nilx25 and apple21.

Really appreciate your response. I was worried that I made a mistake on the very first step. But now i am going to keep it the way it is.

Also, my brother's PD is Jan, 2009. Do you guys have any idea when can NVC schedule interview in our case, I am assuming between Oct -Nov 2015.

Any ideas!!!

Thanks again :)
