On my marriage document from Pakistan they marked virgin but know one ask me I was previous divorce and my husband new and all family but thee nikah ceremony and court register no one ask me or ask see divorce papers . Is this going to cause a problem . Because my husband was a virgin I guess they assume I was too. We didn't see the problem till after I read the document to send in to immigration . We did ceremony and I sign papers they were in Arabic then I sign the court decree but it wasn't filed out they just say do I freely marry my husband my iwn free will . Week later my husband picked them up we never look at it till recently . My husband affidavit of support was accepted now were on to iv app. I told my husband go to the court explain what happen take my divorce papers and get a affidavit of correction. Is this going to cause a problem .

I can tell you that no developed country in the Western world cares whether someone is a virgin at time of marriage or not. Since your interview will be with an American at the American embassy, they will not care.

I'm sorry if my post seemed harsh. It had nothing to do with you it's just these countries who do all they can to oppress women that really gets my blood boiling. Wish you the best of luck with your visa.

In your timeline it says you're going down the K-1 route but if you're already married, you should be doing a CR-1 visa?!

If there was an option on the form for them to tick divorce, that probably needs to be ticked if you are divorced. You should probably check the Pakistan forum, just to be on the safe side, as you would get a better country specific answer.

Sister you should mentioned on your nikah nama about previous divorced. But you did not then you should tell this thing to visa officer on your interview. Because honesty is the good thing. There will be nothing problem if you tell them truth inshalla.

Are you currently married?

What visa are you trying to get?

I think you're trying to get the CR1. You may want to change your profile so it says CR1 instead of K1. :)
