I'm not familiar with Egypt-specific requirements, but NVC stopped requiring originals be sent since November of last year.

Anyone familiar with Egyptian docs is free to add their experience.

Most of our documents are Egyptians, too. We sent copies for both 130 and AOS/IV package. We got our case complete yesterday. No problems.

Photocopies you will be fine. EVERYONE can now send photocopies since November 12th. Never have I heard what your friend has said. If anywhere woud be suspicious of documents would be my embassy Lagos.

Just send in your AOS and IV packages to get that 60 days clock started.

My husband send the original and they asked for our marriage certificate in arabic we send them the original too .. So i think its ok anyway in the interview they will ask to see the original and take only copies, i heard with my case condition in the interview they will give me the original .when they do i'll tell
