Regular travel between alberta and Montana

Ok so I'm Canadian and have a girl in kalispell Montana.

I do 8 on and 6 off shift work, im wanting to move in with my girl on my days off, so will travel to Kalispell for my days off then back to canada to work etc.

I own a house in Canada too and have a perm job.

Would this be a problem coming and going so often even if im only working in Canada?

I don't have an American passport I'll just be traveling as a visitor:

One thing to consider -- Canadians are only allowed to be in USA as a visitor 6months less a day in any 365 days. Keep track of your visits.

Lots of snowbirds come and go on a regular basis through the winter. Just keep track of your visits and carry the documentation of your Canadian employment and home ownership.

If you are a Canadian you should be able to travel back and forth for VISITS ONLY. You cannot MOVE to the USA without a visa that allows you to do so. The only way to get that visa is if marriage is in your future.

I am in the same situation I work a 9/5 and fly down to Dallas ... I have been doing is for 2 years and never had a problem!! We both purchased a house in tx too!

Should be fine, but one day it may not be. Bring proof of your ties to Canada and also be careful about how much stuff you bring down. If it looks to them like you're moving in, that's more of a reason to deny entry. Best of luck to you.

Yea for sure.

Only thing I'll bring down is my directv, the rest I'll buy.

Cost of living there is way cheaper, it just makes sence at this stage and who knows I may meet a cute little Montana girl
