withdrawal of k1 visa

Hello,

I know it has been asked before but I just want to be sure.

I asked for the withdrawal of my k1 visa back in December to the Us Embassy in Paris.

I also asked my ex to send letter to the uscis and the nvc but I don't know if he did it

I contacted the embassy again few weeks ago but still haven't heard back from them.

I checked my case online but it says that the case number can't be done. So I guess it has been canceled.

I would like to know if I still can travel to the USA under the visa waiver program. I need to go there in few weeks.

Would it be a big issue if I don't have any paper stating that I asked for the withdrawal of my visa ?

I know may be questioned more if I go back.

Nobody knows.

Last year I did a I withdrew a K1 after NOA2, I actually received a letter confirming it was withdrew upon my request. About 11 months later I got a letter from USCIS saying that my case had expired.

Funny I figured once I withdrew it and they confirmed it, then it was over. But for some reason it was still in there database...........
