Any updates on your front? Do you have an interview date yet?

I would just keep e-mailing and make sure they're staying on top of it. I'm neurotic about things like this, though, but to be fair it is pretty important life changing stuff! I submitted our notice of readiness on June 2 and Knightsbridge confirmed that they delivered his medical results to the embassy on June 6. They're currently processing notice of readiness forms submitted on or before June 8 so I'm pretty much thinking I should be getting a letter with an interview date any day now (but not today--the mail has already come and alas, no letter). It'd be fabulous if we could get an appointment before the end of the month, but regardless we aren't leaving until the end of October so there's no reason to really stress too much about it. It's just one of those things where I'd rather know sooner rather than later because there's nothing worse than stressing over something seemingly endlessly. I'm feeling reasonably confident (which is a scary thing with immigration) about our interview, though. It really does seem like the London US Embassy does try to approve most spouse visas. It's the trip down and back which is the worst part of the whole process so far!

Greetings, I'm Lamaralus Ibrahim from Texas, my husband is in Ghana and i've started filling i30 for him. I want to know what are some of the interview questions both of us will have to answer at the consular section in Ghana?

I'm not certain what all they'd specifically want to know in Ghana, but generally (for London) these are the questions I've noticed being asked:

1. How did you meet your spouse and what is their name?
2. What work do you intend on doing (what do you plan to do when you get to America)?
3. When did you first meet your spouse in person and where?
4. Have you met your spouses family? When and where?
5. When will you be going to America?
6. Where do you intend to live in America?
7. Who has filed for your visa?
8. Where did you get married and what was the ceremony like?
9. How long have you been married?
10. What does your spouses' mother/father do?
11. Does your spouse have any siblings?
12. What does your spouse do for a living? How long have they been doing it?
13. What have you done from the time you met until now (how have you kept the relationship going?)
14. Who is the joint sponsor on your AOS?
15. Where was your spouse born?
16. Have either of you been married before?
17. Have you ever been denied entry to the US?
18. Why do you want to move to America?

Update we have received approval notification (NOA2).

Well done!! I know that has to feel good :)

It's been two weeks since my husband's medical, and no interview letter yet. I'm trying to get my head (and my internal sense of patience) around the fact that it will likely not be for at least another week or two. With all the delays and backlog that they have, I am not really surprised if it takes longer than expected. So glad we aren't looking to leave until the end of October!

That's great news! I'm confident you'll breeze through the interview.

I'm still waiting for my LND number, but personally I'm not in any particular hurry as we don't really have a timeline for when we plan to make the big move, we just know it is at some point early next year.

I sure hope so! I won't believe it until they actually say it, though! Tentatively working on plans in the US for the hopeful approval outcome, though. You have to be the calmest people going through this process, lol. I wish I could be so laid back, but we REALLY want to get off this grey island SOON haha.

Thank you! We've had so many well wishes that I think they're the reason we were approved, haha. It's nice to feel the support from people in this little immigration community.

If you wanted to read about it, I posted here: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/view-dos-cis-reviews.php?entry=17326
