Is there a number to call to see if your interview date has been assigned?

How do they contact you, through the mail or email? My fiance has not received anything at all and our case was sent to the embassy at the end of June and his medical was completed 2 weeks ago.

I would say two weeks is the minimum time to expect to hear from them after everything is in, so you aren't way overdue yet.. Did you put an intended wedding date? What date?

No harm emailing them through the link that I sent. Takes about 5 working days for a reply, why not do that now and keep trying NVC in meantime.

Getting through to NVC is not always easy. Embassy say 6 weeks estimation, average is probably 4-6.

If you don't get the letter before the interview that's OK as the will have your name on the list anyway.

I agree with Rob, do the contact them link as well. I did that as well - best to pursue all avenues available to you!

I will tell you that from the time few times I've called the shortest time was first thing in the morning when they opened. I also had luck around 3:30pm when I only waited about 15 mins. Though, it did take me about 40 dials to get through that time

Are you going to do a courthouse thing before May? According to my math, your K1 will need to be used by the beggining of January. Your fiance will have to enter the US within 6 months of the medical 2 weeks ago. Then you have 90 days from when he enters the US to get married, so beginning of April is the longest you can push this thing.

Well, the CEAC case status checker only changed to 'In Transit' last Thursday but today it's 'Ready'. Very quick! Only booked the medical this morning and left a three week gap! Might call and see if I can get it pulled forward once I get the letter form the Embassy!

Well, the CEAC case status checker only changed to 'In Transit' last Thursday but today it's 'Ready'. Very quick! Only booked the medical this morning and left a three week gap! Might call and see if I can get it pulled forward once I get the letter form the Embassy!

You don't need a gap. Case is in London.

Oh I know. I did things the wrong way and went ahead and booked the medical this morning as we had our LND case number. Only checked the CEAC thing later and saw it had arrived in London. Had only checked it yesterday so didn't think it would change.

I'll call Knightsbridge again tomorrow and see if I can get it brought forward as they seemed to be pretty open for appointments. Only issue I've had is that I didn't get the email confirmation with the details (it can take place at either of their sites, correct?) despite re-calling and them sending it again!

CEAC website has confirmed that our case is now on its way to the Embassy in London. We're on our way! Will call Knightsbridge tomorrow to book the interview now I know it's on its way

as an FYI i received letter from embassy saying my application has arrived in london today, called and made medical appointment for this thursday so basically a 2 day wait for medical at the moment.

If you are referring to interview appointment for K-1 visa, you cannot make the appointment. London assigns the appointment once they have DS160, medical results, and readiness form.
