I am curious what airline? Did he say something to get a refund because I didn't think they did that?

It was Virgin Airlines. They said they had more cancellations of flights than booked flights in the last 72 hours. He was able to get refund because ticket was bought with points and the money paid was for taxes which they can not collect if it is cancelled.

Medical done, and quite painless. I'll try and get him to write up a review when he gets home from the extremely long drive.

Scott finally called, they said "everything looks good" not "approved or anything like that". Is that normal? They said a minimum of 4 weeks for the visa...ugh we won't make our wedding date :(

I think so yes. And we are all in the same boat. Mine was prior to the date they said they can't print so they said i should get mine but it is still sat there. Even though someone else with same interview date and update date got hers yesterday. I'm so frustrated. I'm over this process as I know you all are.

That sucks! Really sorry that a few of you aren't gonna make your scheduled date! :(

We just got our case number from NVC today, will book the medical tomorrow. We've decided to move our wedding date though, this issue pushes things too close and we don't want to risk it not getting fixed or another delay like this. October 1st we'll go for instead. Knowing this process, even that might be too soon...

It's either the medical results being received or the readiness form being submitted. Whichever gets there last

So as long as I fill out the readiness form shortly before medical then no rush. thanks!

And do your DS-160 before that. It is número uno in the embassy instructions.

Yes that too lol Thanks I just assumed I guess that was a given since it was ""part of the readiness" form if that makes since for lack of a better term. Thanks for adding it, my brain is fried.

What time was his medical? I ask because I was also there today :) Had I known before hand we could have split the gas.

It was around 2-2:30. He was the guy wearing a grey beanie. I made him go back in and double check that the form had been done right. :P

I know this thread is mostly all K1's if not all of you. But I thought I would let you know what happened with my husband during his interview today. His appointment was at 1pm and he was through and approved and texting me 30 minutes later. The CO did ask if he had travels plans... Which he does for July 12th. The officer said they were a week behind but he should be fine by then and to keep a watch on the websites. No guarantee's were given obviously. His ticket was also purchased with miles so if need be we will reschedule and pay the change fee if necessary.
