Hi all just received letter from NVC stating that they have forward the petition to my fiancee embassy. My question is, what is the next step i need to do? Is it the DS-160 form? If so, who's suppose to fill it out, me or her? Any help going forward also will be deeply appreciated.

Hello, you should receive another letter from the US Embassy in PP soon and it will give you other instructions on what to do. Yes you can start filling out the DS-160 but wait till you receive the embassy letter before you print the confirmation page. She will also have to obtain a police certificate. She can go to the criminal records office and enter by the back entrance on the river side that says Appeals Court and pay $1.00 for the forms. One of the forms has to be stamped by her local "Sangkot" office before she goes back to apply for the PC. When she goes for that tell her to also ask for the English translation at the office. It is cheaper than pyramid translation services. Good luck. M

So i should wait to get a letter from PP embassy to fill out the DS-160 form? Im afraid that the letter might not get to her. Will they notify me and then i notify her about the letter? In Phnom Pehn its not easy to find out an address. Most houses there don't have a street address and as for her i don't think where she stays has an exact address address. When i send something to her, the post office would have to call her to come pick it up.

Question on the DS-160.

When they ask for information on person1 and person2, is Person1 your fiance and person2 is me or it does not matter? I was a bit confused.

Mon413 - why do you say she won't get anything sent to her??

Sure enough, I (beneficiary) received a letter from the Consulate in my home country (Germany), not my sponsor in the US.

I was also wondering should I start to fill out the DS160. In the end the letter was there faster than expected.

I would say it doesn't hurt to fill it out and save, but not print the confirmation page.

Exactly.

In fact, I received "packet 3" a day after my F. in the US received the NVC letter. Don't expect much - it was one page that pretty much stated I should refer to the checklist online (the checklist was not even included!) and one page where I had to list all cities where I lived since age 16. That seems to be new and maybe specific to Frankfurt.

Cambodia changed their system. I just got a email response from the embassy today telling my fiancé to fillout online form DS-160 and email them the confirmation to schedule an interview. Packet 3 and Affidavit of support will be turn in at the interview. Here's instruction on how to prepare for the interview after you fillout form DS-160.
