Applying for AP

Hello fellow VJs. My wife received her EAD card February 19, however got confused in submitting the AP paperwork, so we never applied for it. Can we still apply for it, just in case there's an emergency from her home country? Incidentally, our interview is tomorrow. Thanks for all your input.

Yes, you can apply for AP. It's my understanding that with AOS based on a K1 visa you can apply for AP without paying, as long as you send it with your NOA1 from AOS.

When I did my AOS, I submitted the forms for EAD and AP at the same time. Later they sent me a combo card EAD-AP which I was able to use to visit my family in Argentina.

if your AOS interview is tomorrow, no need for AP, you will hopefully have green card.

So, the wife got APPROVED for her GC! Got another question...was she supposed to get a I-551 stamp on her passport? Would like for us to be able to travel and re-enter the US without any problems.
