Will an address change move me to CSC?

I recently moved on NC and filed for our I-129F. Now that I have been waiting for my NOA2, I have been reading the forums and now I know about the long wait. My question is this, can I change my address with USCIS back to my former address (Las Vegas)? Will this prompt a transfer to CSC? My mail is still being forwarded from the former address, and it is the house of my friend so I am fine to receive mail. I could always change the address back once approval? Does anyone know if this is something I can do, or will this flag me in some way? It seems so silly that it will take months and months longer waiting in TSC, if i would have known, obviously I would have applied with my Las Vegas address to begin with.

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Nope, once you've filed you're "stuck" with whatever SC covers your filing address. Changing it to las vegas won't get your petition transferred to CSC.

Removing Conditions Timeline

Aug. 10, '17: Mailed in I-751

Aug. 21, '17: NOA1

October 23, '18: NOA2- approval

October 30, 18: 10-year GC received

Once you file, your petition will go to the service center and stay there until it is adjudicated. Moving to a different location will not cause your petition to be transferred.

Cancel the petition.

Repay and refile.
