Good luck to you too! I still haven't been able to figure out if my local office is Chula Vista or San Diego since I live up north in Oceanside. It might not matter much anyways. I'm sure both office are very busy.

Your is probably going to the San Diego downtown office

Aos local office is Chula Vista, Ca

We're not taking our kids - just because it would be a hassle (they are 1.5 and 3) would not be able to focus on the interview but chasing after them. I don't think they need to see the kids fysically exist as long as you are both mentioned on their birth certificates and you bring the originals. At least thats how we will do it.

Our interview is Monday july 20th. Little nervous but at the same time I know there is no way they can think this is not a real marriage - with 2 kids + 1 on the way.

I was actually thinking the hassle with them will work in our favor may be the IO will just want us out of his office ASAP before the kids destroy it lol and he won't have time to intimidate us lol!!!!!!!!! Plus one of our kids b-day in the day of the interview and we don't want to leave him behind not knowing at what time we'll be back :( We we're thinking about taking them and just go celebrate afterward for his b-day and the approval :joy: Since we are going to be in Downtown Atlanta already there's so many fun things to do there!!!!! OMG I'm so excited lol jejejejejeje can you all tell??!!!!!

I have a friend that said on his interview letter it was written to not take children to the interview (I thought it was weird) I have another friend who took her daughter and she said it went great.

Our baby is going to turn 2 in August, we won't have a choice but to take her with us, we don't have anybody to watch her. I would love to hear back from you guys in case you do take them.

If we end up taking ours I'll let you know how it went!

I had my interview today..... First I was late because of my hard head husband who didn't want to use the GPS. anyway got there about seven minutes after my interview appointment... Got to the security who check my appointment notice then send me to the appointment checking window. wait about 15 minutes or more then a immigration officer came out an call my name. We ( Me, Husband and Baby) went back to his office sat for about 2 minutes while he look through my file then he ask for my passport. Look through my passport then continue to look through my file. Then he ask

IO: When did I got married?

Me: July 14, 2014

IO: Why did we get married in Brooklyn If we live in New Jersey?

Me: Because I was spending time with my great grand father.

then he ask for my I-94... continue to type and check my file. then he ask a few questions from the I-485. After which I notice he had stamp APPROVED on my file but still had us sit there a few more minutes before he said EVERYTHING LOOK GOOD YOU SHOULD RECEIVED YOUR CARD IN TWO WEEKS.

P.S I did not submit any evidence so I was surprise he didn't ask for anything....

Our interview went good. they separated us from the beginning - but asked very basic questions - how did we meet when did we start dating - where my husband lived when we met - when and where we got married....

She did not approve us on the spot though, cause apparently the doctor who did my medical did not fill out my vaccine form properly. So I have to send it back in fully filled out. Already went to the doctor and he filled it out completely.

I don't think there is an issue though as she was very friendly.

Question though cause my husband got the paperwork from her for the vaccines and he did not ask where we had to send the evidence too. Do we send to the local office where we got interviewed at?

Do I send it with a cover letter?

Oh also appointment was at 8am and we were out by 8.45am

03/18/15: Send application

03/22/15: Application received

03/25/15: NOA 1 emails/texts

04/13/15: biomnetrics appointment letter

04/16/15: successful biometrics appointment

06/10/15: Received email - EAD picked up by post office!

06/11/15: Received EAD

06/18/15: Received interview notice in the mail for July 20th 2015 (was send on 06/12/15)
