Hiiamkielalegria,

I just saw my USCIS case status today and it is also ready for interview! I had my biometrics just april 16, 2015. :) Anybody from AZ here? (Phoenix or Tucson). Anyway, like they said we still are not sure if we'll get Notice of Potential Waiver though..still we're sure they are working on our case :) Hopefully I can get my work permit soon, I really want to work already.

Sending positive vibes to all AOS March filers, get ready for this month, I think they are now working on all our cases :)post-205769-0-15068900-1429803534_thumb.jpg

We almost have the same timeline and we got married the same day! HAHA that's funny :P

AND our case changed today as well. I checked it this morning when i woke up and surprised to see that it is ready for interview :)

I'm not THAT excited since i'm lacking some of the documents needed for the interview such as insurance and mortgage..

My coworker is adjusting from k1 as well and she told me i'll prolly receive my interview letter in 1-2 weeks so i'm very anxious right now.

Good luck to all March filers and hoping for a speedy approval to everybody!

Huh? No need to be negative.

As a K1 adjuster, there is always a chance for an interview waiver letter. Adjusting from K1 visa is stressful enough, knowing that we have a chance for interview waiver and in that case we won't receive our green card for more than likely a year from filing.

However, in the vast majority of cases "Ready for interview" means that they WILL schedule an interview date.

Yeah... I don't get why non-K-visa adjusters post here anyway. They have their own sub-forum and own monthly filer threads. Plus, our cases are totally different, K1 relationships already went through scrunity, hence the K1 interview at the US Embassy in our countries. A K1 AOS interview is totally different than let's say a tourist visa AOS interview.

Good luck at your interview! :) I wish you nothing but the very best! (F)

Trust me, us K1 adjusters know about interview waiver.

I'm not going into the fairness of most K1 adjusters waiting a year for their green card (in case of interview waiver) and adjusters from all the other visas getting their green card in 3-5 months since they all are required to have an interview.

Please post in the appropriate sub forum: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/539080-march-2015-filing-for-aos/ - AOS March 2015 filer thread in the "Adjustment of Status from Work, Student& Tourist Visas" sub forum.

Hello...am a non-k1 adjust and I have posted in this forum once in while. Whenever I see someone needs help and could use my input, I will do so. And that is the whole point of VJ. AOS process can be very stressful and helping each other out can be useful. I really do not see a problem in helping someone out.
