Hi. I'm assembling my AOS package and I have some forms with more than I page... for example I-130, I-485, I-131... I did staple them. Is that good or I shouldn't do it.

I'll appreciate if you guys give me tips in how do I put all together. For example tips using those ACCO fasteners.

DAY 19 - March 21, 2015: NOA for Biometrics Appointment scheduled on 04/01/2015

DAY 77 - May 19, 2015: EAD and AP has been approved "We ordered your new card"

DAY 84 - May 26, 2015: We mailed your EAD to the address you gave us/USPS picked up the Card

DAY 85 - May 27, 2015: Interview Scheduled for June 29, 2015.

** May 29: Traveled with my AP back to my country and came back three weeks after with no problems Click here to ready the report **

DAY 117 - June 29, 2015: Had our interview. Approved on the spot.

DAY 124 - July 6, 2015: Welcome noticed received.

DAY 134 - July 16, 2015: Green Card delivered to my home by USPS - END OF AOS -

When we submitted ours we did not staple them. They will put them in their own binders I did not want then to take things apart to put it where it needs to be. Just my two cents.

EVEN BETTER, and so stuff does not get lost::

Goto Office Depot: and buy an ACCHO fastener.. Basically, its those 2 silver tabs at the top of the pages that bend over on top of each other. Just use a 2-hole punch and grab a small box of those. You can also use paperclips, but not staples.

7/1/2015 - NOA #2 Approved

7/10/2015 - Email from Nebraska stating sent the case to NVC

7/16/15 - Case Received by NVC

8/3/15 - DS-261 Agent available

8/4/15 - DS-261 Agent completed

8/4/15 - AOS fee available & paid

8/6/15 - Check cleared the bank & bar-code cover sheet now available

I used lots of paper clips to put together the multi-page forms. Then I fastened everything to an ACCO folder. And THEN I read that for this type of application, they don't want you to use an ACCO fastener. Well, it worked out fine, they didn't seem to mind.

Another option is to use those huge paper clips/clamps. I don't know how to describe them, they're usually black and huuuuuuge.

They're going to take them apart and sort the documents how they want anyway; stapling isn't a huge deal but you might as well make it easier for them and not do it.

There's that smell again...
