So I didn't receive my biometrics yet, and now I actually just moved from California to Texas. I just moved a few days ago and my husband and I are looking for an apartment, we're staying at a friend's house... Which means we don't have an address yet. Can I give the friend's address as a temporary one? I see that some of you who, like me, were waiting for a long time, are now getting their appointments. I wonder what happens if I'm scheduled for biometrics in California? Can I reschedule my appointment for another State? We're having the mail forwarded to my husband's mom so it might be that I received the letter, finally, but it takes a while to get forwarded.

I'm so pissed, folks... I've been waiting for 3 months for this biometrics and now the timing just plain sucks :ranting:

Got a text message today saying our case was updated. Got all excited and was frantically trying to login. Turns out my husbands "Name was updated". LOL. So no news. But maybe it's a good sign that someone is doing something with it.

Hi March filers!!

We were just updating our timeline today and We found this group here! We sent my petition on begging of March and just got approved on July 1st!!! :) Looks like they will start approving more people pretty soon!! Good luck to

Online still says "Name was Updated" on 06/29/2015. However, today we received an approval letter in the mail today saying "Date of Decision: 06/29/2015" and that we should receive the new card within 60 days! Wahoo!

Letter is sort of unoffical looking. Not on letterhead. But envelope was more offical.

Just an update on timing. Approval letter was dated 06/29/2015. Letter actually recieved 7/6/2015. USCIS also updated on 7/6/2015 to say card was mailed to us.
