If this poll is accurate, over a quarter of British Muslims overtly sympathise with the motives of those responsible for the cold blooded murder of 16 journalists, police officers and Jews.

The good news is that 3 out of 4 Muslims are good people.(at least when it comes to beheading and terrorizing) It is news to me. I always thought if you shot a muslim you had a 50% chance of killing a terrorist or terrorist supporter. Now I see you would only have a 25% chance.

This morning the BBC published details of a major poll of the attitudes of Britains Muslims. The headline on the front of the BBC website linking to the research states: Muslims oppose cartoon reprisals. This of course relates to attitudes within the Muslim community towards the recent Charlie Hebdo attacks.

Its a reassuring headline. Its also wrong. Many Muslims - a majority - do indeed utterly oppose the murderous killings in Paris. But a very, very large number of Muslims dont. Presented with the statement I have some sympathy for the motives behind the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris, 27 seven percent agreed with the statement. A further 2 per cent refused to answer the question. And an additional eight percent said they were unsure whether they had some sympathy or not.

That is a shocking figure. And an utterly shaming one for Britains Muslim community. If this poll is accurate, over a quarter of British Muslims overtly sympathise with the motives of those responsible for the cold blooded murder of 16 journalists, police officers and Jews.

It may be too late to wake the sleeping political correctness advocates as they masquerade themselves in "I am more sensitive the you" clothing. But, those who are awake can see the increasing madness spreading the globe, especially in Europe and the UK. But, we have our own right here at home and plenty of folks are way past just responding with the, "You've got to be kidding me; [gasp with puzzled look]."

Don't say Christian, don't say black, don't say this, don't say that. It may offend the sensibilities of radical islam, murderers, rapists, thugs, and 0bama's illegitimate son.

University Police Will No Longer Provide Race Of Suspect In Crime Alerts

Caving into the race-hustlers, the University of Minnesota will no longer include a suspect’s race when sending crime alerts to the public.

Facing increased backlash for harming minorities who are “stigmatized” by alerts that indicate the race of a person, the school’s police department will stop listing the suspect’s race.

Amazingly, the school acknowledged that even though some students and university employees might want as much description as possible of a crime suspect, that the “cost of reinforcing stereotypes” was too great.

For some, knowing they have all the information available about a crime, including the complete suspect description, makes them feel better informed and increases how safe they feel. But others – particularly Black men – have shared that suspect descriptions that include race reinforce stereotypes of Black men, create a hostile campus climate, and negatively affect their sense of safety.

What this means is: The University of Minnesota is willing to jeopardize student safety for the delicate sensibilities of stigmatized minorities.

Administration released a letter to the university community that “explained” how much it hurts black people when they tell the public that a black man is the suspect in a crime.

We have heard from many in our community that the use of race in suspect descriptions in our Crime Alerts may unintentionally reinforce racist stereotypes of Black men, and other people of color, as criminals and threats. That in turn can create an oppressive climate for some members of our community, a climate of suspicion and hostility.

One thing I've noticed on here is how many of you, while perfectly happy to latch onto whatever headline you happen to read that demonised Muslims, are prepared completely ignore what actual Muslims on this board say on the subject. You are only interested in your preconceived opinions.

If its not convenient, it's not acknowledged and nothing is acknowledged that contradicts the opinions that you have cooked up in isolation from a conversation with real Muslims.

You are, quite simply, actively participating in a campaign to marginalise Muslims.

Incidentally, this may partly why some people end up becoming radicalised.
