Will They Release Passports at Same Time? [split topic]

Hi!

Im a nurse under EB3 visa. We had our interview last Feb 9,2015 At the USEMBASSY. Sadly, they requested from my husband a new NBI clearance stating the wrongly spelled name that he used in the birth certificate. Even though the record was corrected when he was 6yo, with note at the bottom of his NSO birth cert, they still required him to submit the NBI with AKA. We submitted the said form on the same day, but it took them a week before they sent the email that they received the nbi clearance. As of today, me and my son's status are both "ready" while my husband is under "administrative processing". Will they release the 3 passports at the same time? Because I havent resigned in my current employer abroad, and need to go back to settle "the things" that need to be done upon resignation. As Ive read the forums, it may take weeks before we receive the visa. Hopefully it will only take two weeks to release our visa.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

It makes sense if they do, but a friend of mine petition all her kids at the same time and for some reason only 2 of the kids got their visa a week after their interview and the other one is still waiting.

Not sure what their online status though as my friend never bothered to check them.

I hope it will all work out for you. Good luck!

Cool

I know very little bit about your type of Visa

Did you get and offer from a hospital and they sponsor you for this visa?

And if so what state are you going to?

Already here at Texas. Arrived last April 19, 2015.

Yes, I had an employment offer since 2007, and they sponsored my visa application under EB3.
