Temporary GC to Permanent 10 year GC

I am sure this has been answered somewhere and I looked around, however I couldn't find it. My wifes Temporary GC expires May 30, 2015 (2 years after receiving it) so on March 1 we will file for the Permanent 10 year GC....My question to those that have gone through it, how long will it take after we initially send in our application with all of our "proof"? will her temporary GC expire before we get conditions removed and she gets her 10 year? We are in Southern California...Thank you

It will take couple of months but once she sends the petition, she will get a NOA which will serve as 1 year extension of her GC.

A couple of months...??? We applied almost 7 months ago with no end in sight. Her 1 year extension could expire before we hear anything.

I hear you... Mine took 3.5 months on the other side - it's been a while though... Not everyone waits that long...

California Service acenter normal take 3-4 months Vermont Cervice Center minimun 6

Not true.....california service center is now working on petitions filed 9 months ago....

We filed our petition 7 months ago and still no decision.
