Hello everyone,

I am currently under Administrative Processing, i was called for an interview under K3, its been almost 4 month since my interview at the embassy.

Thing is, the i130 was approved almost at the same time as the K3, but me and my spouse decided to go with K3 since we thought that would be faster.

Now the expiration date for the i130 is getting close, and i was confused as to how to go about it.

Should we just start with the i130, since that is at the NVC where we are required to pay the fees so that it moves to the embassy at my home country?

How would that be handled, would the i130 merge with the already in process K3, or do we have to wait through all the waiting again, since ive already been married for almost a year and a half. I dont mind the additional paper work, just dont want to to go through all the waiting again, since me and my wife really want to be with each other now.

Thank You.

Soooo..., you are saying that the last 7-8 months that we have waited will be for nothing?

And that ill get another interview call based on the i130 and they can potentially put me in Administrative Processing again? :(

yes to both.

At the very least have your spouse submit the DS-261 or make a phone call to the NVC (not on Monday - federal holiday) to keep your case active if you end up wanting to go that route.
