Hi everyone,

Thank God I arrived safely yesterday and survived the 24 hours flight. :luv: Happy that I got to spend Thanksgiving with my husband this year. Bad news is I forgot to ask when will I get my greencard in mail to the officer at the airport cause I was too overwhelmed with joy haha.

Best wishes for all who are still waiting for a CC and interview date!

Good luck! I've noticed the lines aren't as busy than it was 2 or 3 months ago. I call around 8 or 9 am est.

Thank you, will keep that in mind!

Hello all, for those that have already made the trip to the U.S., can you let me know what the process was going through immigration? Thanks!

Honestly every POE is different. My wife arrived at DFW and from landing to exiting customs it took 3 hours. They did not ask my wife any questions but the waiting was long. They called my wife to the window and handed her passport back and the agent said your GC will arrive in 6 months.

So sorry to hear this Mbalih! But why not ask NVC if you can bring your Marriage Certificate to the Embassy during your interview. Not to worry God is in control.

I really hope so,but it's so unfair because everything was sent, what to do, but just send it anyway.

I agree. NVC can be kinda pushy even though it might be them who lost your marriage cert., not your fault. Just send them what they want and be done with it. Do not waste another day and time.
