We are still waiting on our petition approval. We got transferred to CSC from VSC. Just got the transfer letter in the mail on Saturday. I tried to do an inquiry, but have to wait an additional 5 - 6 months before I can do that at least online. Not quite sure if my case has physically arrived at CSC yet.

Glad to see that everyone is moving quite quickly through the NVC process. God Bless!

I'm so sorry to hear that man- such BS.

I'd have already written 100 letters to every congress person and senator I cld find. I don't understand why the clock starts over if you got transferred. I know CSC is normally really fast so hopefully they approve you as soon as they get it.

Hopefully you will hear update this week, keep calling and don't let up. Tell them the 5months period has already passed. If you don't get results this week, i would recommend scheduling an infopass appt to make them do an inquiry. God bless!

If you guys have any questions specifically for me,

I will be glad to help via private message.

Well we got our IV fee finally last night after having to call on Monday and do the DS261 over the phone. However, it's still not allowing us to pay online. Is that usually the case or is it worth calling them back?

If you see the amount and its not letting you select the fee or some technical issue, try to use a different browser. E.g. internet explorer, safari, etc. Whichever you haven't tried

Thanks for the reply. No the screen is exactly the same as it was before, there's no amount and no check box either to be able to select that fee. I have tried on Chrome and Edge ad my husband uses Firefox but none of them are any different.

In that case, I would suggest checking throughout the day. It took at least 12-24 hr for me..2-3 days for others i hear. call at the end of the day if it doesn't show up

Yes! You are close too. I just can't wait for the good news from NVC.

Btw, my husband called NVC regarding the 'full time employee' as job title. The rep said it's not a big deal for them and we don't need to send any revision. Hopefully she was sober when she said that. :content:

Hey maniput,

There's good news for me too!

Thanks a lot for sharing!

That's absolutely normal - it happened to me too.

As they said, it should be out in 24-48 hours, and they'll send you an email informing you as well.

My husband just put together our packages now and is about to go mail them now! So nervous.... Also, a supervisor at the NVC told him today that she would hopefully have the DS-261 unlocked later this afternoon to Review it.

Anytime they tell you it will be unlock "later" or "today" it's almost guaranteed to be a lie. I called everyday twice a day between the 20th and the 31st of august and was told that a supervisor was going to unlock it everyday. You have to call and get to a level 2 supervisor and have them unlock it while you're on the phone.

I called them this Monday and told them that when i called on Friday the person told me to call back and speak to a supervisor- it took talking to 3 people but the last one finally transferred me to a real sup who had it unlocked in 5 minutes.

Thank you both, they opened up about half an hour ago and we've paid them. Would recommend anyone waiting for the DS261 to be reviewed phones up though, there seem to be a lot of people at the moment who are having to call to get it done.

Congrats to everyone that's approve , those still waiting it's on it's way, my 5 years old son was approved on the 24th of July , since he got a medical visa to the U.S. And came to the states last month we decided to just do adjustment of states for him , so we are getting ready to mail it off to the USCIS , hopefully everything works out for good and he doesn't have to go to Africa till he get he's green card. Guess we have to start counting or waiting for months now. It's all good at least he's here with me now.
