I got a rfe and i sent my original marriage certficate will i get it back??

Then you'll have to file some extra paperwork to get it back. I suggest getting a new one if possible because it takes a while to get your originals back from the USCIS (get a certified copy from issuer.)

can i file that paper work now..i got married in ghana so thats all that i will have

I think you can apply for another certificate from Ghana. I am sure they will have a record of your marriage and they can issue you another original. You should probably start the process soon, so that you can get the certificate for NVC process.

12/08/2014 TSC approved I-130.

12/12/2014 TSC shipped case to NVC.

12/19/2014 NVC received.

01/26/2015 Case # assigned and completed DS-261.

01/30/2015 Received AOS invoice and paid.

It takes forever and a day fling the form 884 and many times not successful. Because you do still have an active case. USCIS is known not to forward original documents. Even if they do you still have to submit a copy and present the original or certified copy at interview.

Since your approved petition (NOA2) if forthcoming you need to get a certified copy since there is no original to get. Where you got married would have that.

I recently went to the registrar general's department in Accra to get a certified copy of my marriage certificate, it only took them 3 days to produce it, even though they said it would be ready in a week. And I paid 60 cedis for it.

So you need your spouse in Ghana to go along with a copy of your marriage certificate to where ever you registered the marriage in order to obtain a certified copy. I understand all marriage records are forwarded to the registrar general's department after a certain period (I don't know). verify with where you did yours and if it was at the registrar general's all the easier.
