Hi I have a couple of questions once K-1 visa holder comes to the US and gets married within the 90 days.

They can

  • Apply for adjustment of status AOS form I-485
  • Apply for employment authorization I-765
  • Apply for advance parole I-131

How do you tie them together to get a combo card ( employment authorization and advance parole)

  • Do you just mail all the forms together and where?
  • How much are the fees when together?

Traveling to Mexico for vacation with the combo card

  • Do you need a visa if you are from the Philippines?

How do you tie them together to get a combo card ( employment authorization and advance parole) When you apply for AOS you also send I-765 and I-131 in the packet. Once approved, in about 90 days from filing they will mail you an EAD card, at the bottom it will say that it can also be used as AP.

  • Do you just mail all the forms together and where? Yes, see guides or visit USCIS website for address.
  • How much are the fees when together? All together is $1,070 ($985 for AOS and $85 for biometrics)

  • Do you need a visa if you are from the Philippines? You don't if you are visiting from US, but you will need AP to reenter the US.

Philippines is in the list of countries that their citizens need visa to enter Mexico, but Check this out:

http://www.inm.gob.mx/index.php/page/paises_visa/en.html

"A foreign who has any of the following documents shall not require Mexican visa:

a) A document certifying permanent residence in Canada, USA, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or any of the countries of the Schengen Area;"

If the philippines citizen has an USA permanent residence, he/she will not be asked to get a Mexican visa.
