So happy we got our visa and made it to the finish line with our sanity.

Congrats luckytwo15!!!!

We got the text from 2GO today. Thanks for the UID info.

Congrats! We got the 2go message close to 5pm local time PI. We saw the 2go website update around 4:30pm using the UID for tracking.

We took the 1:30pm bus out of Olongapo to Pasay, Manila. We were hoping hoping hoping to receive our visa package Friday afternoon. And sure enough we saw that our visa was ready for pickup about an hour before our bus arrived in Pasay.

It was a 200 peso taxi ride from the VictoryLiner Pasay bus terminal to moa. Only about 10 minutes. Then a 100 peso taxi ride from moa to NAIA terminal 3. The CFO was closed at Terminal 3 so the information person adjacent to the CFO counter called Terminal 1 and the CFO was open there. This was late ... around 10pm.

We were offered taxi service from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 ranging from 680 to 900 pesos. We found the terminal loop bus at the far end of the arrival level and gladly paid their 20 peso per person fee to catch a lift to Terminal 1. We had to wait 20 minutes or so, but then the driver aggressively blazed through traffic.

We explained to the guards at Terminal 1 that we were flying soon and that we were going to try to get on standby this weekend. They were kind enough to let us into the airport. Terminal 3 is easy to get in and walk around, Terminal 1 requires a ticket or guards permission.

The CFO representative was the same person we talked to on the phone via the Terminal 3 information desk, so she knew us when we arrived there and she was happy to see the guards let us in. Her counter is actually just on the other side of the widow from the guard.

We filled in the CFO information sheet again, which is the form with local and abroad addresses, phone numbers, occupations, etc.

Then she placed the CFO sticker in her visa and we were done !
