The UID number came in a separate email confirmation under the barcode, a couple of days AFTER I scheduled the interview online. I never had the UID number before scheduling, but it was part of the confirmation email I received 2 days following the scheduling of the interview. Maybe you are referring to another number, not the UID. Before I scheduled the interview, I only had the passport number and case number, but never the UID. The reference number on the website linked to above is NOT the same as the UID. Thus to schedule the interview, you need the reference number as per above link. Once you scheduled interview online, you will receive the UID in a confirmation mail a day or two later.

Thanks guys! I just paid through BPI to get away with the UID number.

Now I'm trying to schedule the interview online. Is the receipt number your passport number? Or the receipt number indicated in the deposit slip?

Hi all,

I want to pay for my visa interview online (through Bancnet) but then I don't know where to look for the UID number.

I already made an account in http://ustraveldocs.com/but I dont see any UID number there.

Please advise.

Details on the complete process are below in my signature, follow the flashing arrow.

Here is the link for paying through bancnet. I believe the number they want is the one that is generated on the webpage.

The receipt number on the deposit slip is the MRV receipt number you need to enter online to schedule the interview.

You will need to wait a bit of time before trying to enter the receipt number after paying at BPI. So if you try to enter the receipt number and it does not accept it, wait a few more hours and try again.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

Noted. I've seen from other discussions that the receipt number is your passport number so I've been trying both.

Thank you!
