I was wondering if I have digital pictures if it is alright to print them out myself? Or should I get them printed elsewhere?

Digital photos are fine either way, self printed or elswere.

Only thing I noticed in one of the thread, is the CO did not accept pictures printed on plain paper for some reason. I just use my color printer and print my own 4x6 pics. Ken

26 Dec 06 - Received Packet 4

19 Jan - CFO completed after SLE shots... have to go back for the stamp after visa approval

15 Feb 07 - Interview Approved

24 Feb 07 - Arrive at Honolulu POE

2 Apr 07 - Married, civil ceremony, mailed AOS

17 Apr 07 - Checks cashed for AOS & AP

22 Apr 07 - Filed Expedite for AP

8 May 07 - Biometrics Appt

8 May 07 - Filed complaint with local USCIS for no action on Expedite request

9 May 07 - AP Expedite approved via email

14 May 07 - received AP I-512L documents in the mail

25 Jun 07 - AOS Interview scheduled but cancelled due to deployment and family emergency

29 Nov 07 - Visited local USCIS to reschedule AOS interview

15 Jan 08 - Local USCIS finally forwards reschedule request after formal complaint

8 Feb 08 - Received new Interview date

28 Mar 08 - AOS Interview ..investigation reopened due to incorrect birthdate that was identified 05/07

16 Apr 08 - CRIS Notice of GC approval and welcome notice via email

25 Apr 08 - GC received finally!

We printed ours out in colour on 8.5x11 printer paper not photo paper and had no problem as far as I'm concerned a picture is a picture is a picture.

09/20/2006 - Sent I-129F

09/22/2006 - Received at NSC
09/28/2006 - NOA-1 (1-797C date )

10/02/2006 - Cheque cashed

10/02/2006 - NOA 1 (I-797C recieved in the mail)

12/08/2006 - NOA-2 in 79 days

12/13/2006 - NOA-2 hard copy recieved

12/26/2006 - Package recieved by NVC

12/30/2006 - Received by Montreal

01/22/2007 - Received Packet 3

04/16/2007 - Returned Packet 3

08/02/2007 - Received medical documentation

08/07/2007 - Received Interview date Aug. 9th

08/09/2007 - Received I-601 and 212 (not approved yet)

02/17/2008 - I-601 approved 212 abandoned

06/2?/2009 - New medical and passport and doc sent to Mtl

07/22/2009 - Recieved request for DS-221 and notarized letter of intent

Digital Pictures are fine, and I think they're probably the norm now. It doesn't matter how or where you print them. The important thing is that you have alot of them with the both of you in the picture, and the both of you with family and friends in the picture is even better.

We sent only 6 pictures (from 2004 - present).

I think as far as proof of meeting it's better to send a little bit of each.

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

I went overboard and sent in many - but printed 6 per page in color just out of the copier - no special photo paper. I'm assuming/hoping that is not a problem. it would be a bit stupid if they prefer prints glued to paper - but then again, there's lots of nonsensical parts of this process.

1-23-07 NOA1 Notice Date

1-26-07 NOA1 arrives in the post

4-25-07 Touched!

4-26-07 Touched again!

5-3-07 NOA2!!! Two approval emails received at 11:36am

5-10-07 Arrived at NVC/5-14-07 Left NVC - London-bound!

5-17-07??? London receives?

5-20-07 Packet 3 mailed

5-26-07 Packet 3 received

5-29-07 Packet 3 returned, few days later than planned due to bank holiday weekend

6-06-07 Medical in London (called to schedule on May 29)

6-11-07 "Medical in file" at Embassy

6-14-07 Resent packet 3 to Embassy after hearing nothing about first try

6-22-07 DOS says "applicant now eligible for interview," ie: they enter p3 into their system

6-28-07 Help from our congressional representative gives us new interview date: July 6

7-16-07 Visa delivered after 'security checks' completed

we printed captions with the dates as file names in the YYYYMMDD format. and they are in chronological order as well. captions also say where and who are in the photos.

We sent 8 pictures of which only two had both of us in them in the other pictures we were alone but with the same background. As far as I can remember the only one that was dated 2005 was the one from Manitou Springs all of the other pictures were of the same time period as the dated one.

09/20/2006 - Sent I-129F

09/22/2006 - Received at NSC
09/28/2006 - NOA-1 (1-797C date )

10/02/2006 - Cheque cashed

10/02/2006 - NOA 1 (I-797C recieved in the mail)

12/08/2006 - NOA-2 in 79 days

I wrote both our names (and the names of others if in the picture) on the back of each photo. We also wrote the location and the date (mm/yyyy). We sent our first picture taken together - in 2004 - and then a couple from 2005 and a couple from 2006.

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions
