lady customer service in embassy told me to call embassy again after 2weeks;( im from the PHil! a friend agent said expect it 2nd week of February hopefully wont take that long anymore:..( and i dont know how do embassy differenciate an expedited case to normal processing? mine is on expedited request thts why nvc forwarded my case to embassy but major documents lost by NVC on its way to embassy, and this delayed the issuance of my visa and has bn on administrative processing since early Dec2014;(! we requested to be expedited n granted but i dont know why embassy asked me to redo some docs. since nvc told my hubby all forwarded to embassy;( no wants to be responsible of lost docs, does this mean an applicant documents will be put not in just one packet? and got lost as easy as that:( ridiculous!!

No one can say when you will have your visa. Each case is different. Just have to have patience a word that many of have been told to have during this process.

I seriously doubt any documents were lost between NVC and USEM. What is more likely is you didn't provide the documents required in the embassy instructions letter, even if you already submitted them to NVC you are required to submit new documents to USEM - they have their own requirements.

You are required to present all the documents listed in the instructions letter during the interview (doesn't matter that you sent them to NVC before)
