Thanks all for your directives... I have called them and they gave me the invoice nos... My fiancé will just go ahead now and fill the D260 online now

Our case status now shows as Ready! Aaah! Now I guess I just wait for instructions from the embassy..? Hopefully they're quick, or I'm going to go crazy, lol.

YAY!!! One step closer!

Wow!.. that part must be so exciting. :D

So glad to see your case has arrived at NVC!!

That's great - do you not mean the DS-160? I believe the D260 is for married/spouses.

NVC reveived my case on March 12, 2015 on March 16, 2015 they assigned the case number. What is the next step after that please? Are they going to ask for affidavit of support or send it to the consulate. I am confuse about what will come next.

It goest to Administrative Processing at NVC - this can be a few days or a couple of weeks. From there it is sent to your consulate. You check the CEAC website https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw== periodically and your case will get updated to "In Transit" when it is shipped. Good luck.

We are thrilled and can't wait to have the visa in hand. I hope everything goes smoothly for you all for the rest of your journey! :dancing:

I have to say the Embassy in Ghana is so slow....It takes forever to get the call letter....then 6 to 8 weeks for an interview date. I can't wait for this entire process to be over. The worse part...it is so hard to get a visa there. They turn down so many K-1 it has me under so much stress! I can only pray about it!

Mine too. They are so slow and the people answering the calls are not well informed. Am just waiting to hear from them. The Nvc said ready on March 4. The embassy is sitting on it.
