Hello how are you?

I need opinions.

My husband and I go to USA to study English with the F1 visa.

My husband is a graduate in IT, has 10 years of experience, has several course and certified.

What is the chance of getting a h1b sponsor? Our idea would be to study English and send resumes to get a H1B.

Has anyone got that way?

Also I wonder if he study a masters in the area of technology, we can renew the OPT for another 17 months after 12 months?

Thanks

You need an employer sponsor for H-1B. There is a numerical limit for those visas and typically the number of applications reach that limit day 1 of the new visa cycle, so many people send those applications in as soon as the rules allow, like 90 days in advance before the new cycle begins, or whatever the number of days are.

that is cheating :)

you want to get to the US using F-1 Visa to look for H1B sponsors.... hmmm its pretty hard...

so many companies would require that you already have H1B or work authorization... good luck

I have some plans, I do not know what is the best because we have the possibility of opening a new business or trying the H1B visa.

Anyway let's get a student visa to study English and we know what the best way.

We still have the possibility of having the L1 visa because my husband is a partner and technical director of a company here in our country.

Therefore I am researching how best to stabilize and stay legally in the USA.

Thanks

Best way might be to go to graduate school and finish a master degree. That gives you a one year work authorization as a perk for finishing the degree. That way you can get a job then hopefully get that employer to apply for H-1B.

Speaking of stability - remember that H-1B and L-1 are _temporary_ working visas. You can extend them for quite a bit but they're going to run out, and there is no automatic path to permanent residence from them. Wouldn't call that stability.
