I haven't checked all day since I've not been near a computer...have made up for it in the past 10 minutes.

And yesterday, why I was thinking that they'd be adjudicating petitions on a Sunday.

We got an email that NOA 2 was mailed on Friday, 23rd. Feb.!!! (We both were spouting gray hairs!!!) YAY!!:dance:

We used the old form. We followed the instructions in a "K-1 kit" we bought on the internet to the letter... was a $50 kit but seems to have pleased Vermont so it was money well spent!

We are so thankful, and pray for speedy attention to everyone still waiting.... fingers crossed :)

I must say that the journey is far from over but we are really relieved and thankful to hear that NOA 2 is on the way! You will be too -- hang in there and have a cold bottle of champagne standing by in (both) refrigerators since it happens when you least expect it!

And rememeber, and email from "CRIS" is definitely NOT spam! :D

We got NO touches before NOA 2, nothing since NOA 1 at all and we were worried we'd been sent to the "warehouse" ...! It only takes some of the adjudicators 15 minutes to do a case, according to the Husker guy's posts, so you might not get any touches or could get lots - just depends, I guess!

Everyone might be interested in this website my fiance and I use to figure out how long it will be until we see each other-- it's very useful!

Wow, already? Congratulations!!! I keep checking and checking...
I only included my letter of intent, does my fiance needs to send one too? or can she submit it on approved interview?? :o

I'm pretty sure that your fiance needed to include one, too. You may get an RFE.

I haven't checked all day since I've not been near a computer...have made up for it in the past 10 minutes.

And yesterday, why I was thinking that they'd be adjudicating petitions on a Sunday.

How late do they do these? I figured after 5pm it was over.

Just starting the journey, haven't yet filed... Until today(2/12/07)!

I think your fiancee needs to submit one as well but since you have submitted your packet, just keep your fingers crossed that they'll oversee it and get the approval without RFE. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply! bout she faxed a copy to me with notary on the letter of intent will that work? I can send it to the local office and tell them I forgot to include it.

IMHO, I don't think it's not necessary to do that since you have submitted your packet already. There were cases where they didn't include the letter of intent and got approved. Better keep your fiancee's copy in case they will ask for it (RFE) it will be easier to submit, but like I said, they might oversee it and approve your case without it.

Relax for now...

WooooHooooo... I finally finished the packet and dropped it in the mail today, Priority Mail, Signature Confirmation Required. Quadruple checked, with both the VJ Assembly instructions and the helpful hints from everyone.

So, does that make me a February filer, or am I not official until the packet is received by the Nebraska Service Center?

I think everyone in the office thought I was crazy, wearing out the copy machine, all the pretty little tabs neatly arranged at the bottom indexing everything, doing the final assembly, and then going through page by page with one final check, with this CRAZY big grin on my face. 1 more step towards Annie being with me, I FEEL GREAT.

Let the fun begin!!! And the waiting, too.......................
