Can't get past the affidavit of support/tax return requirement. Stumped.

yes current income is needed but that is for joint sponsor to show with the latest year of filing, but the op ask specific about 3 years of tax returns which only the latest one is require and if he uses a joint sponsor then it up to that person to show that he makes enough

once again, uh no. The petitioner also needs to show proof of income, even if it's under the threshold and even if their income is zero.

I only filed taxes one of the three years. I sent them my one transcript, a note explaining why I did not work (was in school), and my sponsors three years of taxes. We were approved. I also made under $8K the third year.
