Can the 6 page I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance be stapled together

Is it acceptable by USCIS if any forms submitted to them are stapled together as well as evidentiary documents? I have alot of evidentiary documents that I will be submitting with the I-129F which has 6 pages and I want to staple some of the documents together as well as the I-129F (separately stapled) because I want to prevent any of my paperwork from getting lost.

I have heard that USCIS does not like for the forms to be staples. You can use paper clips that is what i used. Smaller ones to group items together then a bigger one to keep it together

thanks for responding! what about evidentiary documents can it be stapled together? What will happen if USCIS receives an I-129F that is stapled together, are they going to send a notice to the petitioner saying to re-submit another completed form? Just curious..

I do not know but i heard staples make it harder to take forms out you should use paper clips i did with no problems my petition was approved

It states:

"In preparing your packet, please take note of the following:

a. Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled.
b. Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated. Exception: Petitions filed at the Chicago lockbox should use paperclips when attaching supporting personal documents to forms instead of “ACCO” fasteners; staples are acceptable when attaching fees.
c. The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.
d. Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.
e. Avoid submitting originals unless specifically required (Forms I-94, Labor certifications, etc). Avoid submitting oversized documentation when possible."

Grab one of those big black mega paper clips, but no staples.

I used a single ACCO larger size clip to hold everything together. No further staples or paperclips.

Those are fine. That the ones I always use when I file K1 visas.

Always approved fast, I doubt it matter how you bound them just as long you keep in order. I have stapled in the past also with acco binders and it just don't matter to USCIS.

Once you get to interview stage at US embassy in Manila they will have that same package there. MIne was about 1" wide, I saw one package that had to be be 7" wide.
