I have filed a I-129F Petition Alien Fiancé. On date 06/24/2014 and received notice form I-797C notice of action. On Date 06/26/2014 And a receipt number

It's going on the seventh month and have not heard anything about my approval. Would someone out there please help me and find out what's going on and why I have not received anything. And what should I do. I filed a E- request and it keeps telling me I'm within the processing time. I wrote to my congressman haven't heard anything from him. Anybody have any suggestions what I should do I'm getting worried. Thank you

You need to call USCIS and ask to speak to a "Tier 2 Representative" Then that tier 2 can put in a service request for you. Explain to him your NOA1 date and that it has been over six months. Mine took nearly seven months from TSC, but I was able to do a service request this way just after the six month mark. About 10 days after the service request.......NOA2 came, but not through text or e-mail like the NOA1, I had to continually check the USCIS website. E-request will not let you because their date is several months behind......the tier 2 rep will be able to do this for you.

Are you sure you ar ein teh Texas Service Center.

You file in TX as only the entry point and then it gets routed to FVErmont or California. You'll have that info in the 797 you have.

Then once you determine the correct center, check their processing times in the USCIS web site.

7 months seems more or less ok (I'll have to check the times, but it sounds correct) and you might be about to receive a NOA2 indicating is going to NVC

If you are in TX as you indicate, Sen Cornyn is the person you want to contact (his office). Check his website and he has details on how to have his office to a reuest for you.

You're a little behind the times. VSC no longer handles K-1 petitions, TSC and CSC do. The OP is right, his petition is stuck at TSC.

We know the pain of waiting, as we were at VSC, as it was as bad at TSC, if not worse. We were 186 days, on the NOA 2, which is about what TSC is doing. But, what amazes us is our petition was straight to NVC, in about 3-4 days, and at NVC less than two days, to my best memory.

What has happened, to NVC?

I wonder why so many people are getting hung up between USCIS approval, and NVC forwarding to embassy.

As far as the waiting game.,.,we know it very well, it is agonizing, as we all become "glued" to out computers, and our lives revolve, around a computer, just hoping for a glimpse of hope.,., but "when" it happens, and it will for most petitions, IT is the most joyous time you will ever remember.

God's speed to all the TSC people.

Has anyone ever asked a government official, or USCIS, why some of the states that burden TSC with their work load, and keep them months behind, is not shifted to CSC? Why not shift some of the work load, permanently, make it fair for everyone!
