Change in Medical Exam Documentation process? Manila

I saw a post on here recently that said ST. Lukes was providing the medical examination documentation to the applicant when the medical exam was completed. The posted indicated that the old process was for St. Lukes to send the medical documents to the Embassy. The old process required the applicant to wait 7-10 days before going for an interview to ensure the medical documentation arrived at the embassy.

If the process has changed, that the applicant now hand carries the required medical documentation, does that mean there is no longer a need to wait 7-10 days between the physical exam and the interview?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

n. MEDICAL EXAMINATION. All K1 and K2 visa applicants must complete a medical examination at St.

Luke’s Extension Clinic at least a week before the interview appointment. Refer to the instructions (see

separate page) regarding the medical examination.

I figure it will take a few months before all the bugs are ironed out.

It will take few months before they will issue my visa? After I get approved?

No, it will take a few months for SLEC to iron the bugs out of releasing the medical file to the applicant or sending it directly to USEM
