Hi guys! I had my interview on Thursday and I couldn't have gone any better. The appointment was for 1:30 pm and we checked in at 12:50. They called my name at 12:55 and we were out the door by 1:35

So far what i have found out that , KC feild office is a winner. They dont play play:) Here in Louisville, USCIS office still stuck in snow. They seems to be taking their sweet time.

My Bio was on 2/25 still no new. My background is clean as mirror....Thanks God not even a speeding ticket. I guess they pretend to be very busy.

I've found out mine within two weeks after getting biometrics done, but I think it depends on location, some offices have a higher work load, I'm in Kansas City MO and they don't seem to be busy at all every time I go there. Be patient :)

I think u will get up date soon. Coz I just got 2 email today said in line and another one is schedule interview after 1 month I did Bio.

Are you guys bringing anything to the interview?

In general...?

Bring what is on the yellow letter and/or the interview notice.

I was only asked to bring photos (one of mine was lost), state ID, green card, "government issued" documents (just meant passports).

I also went to irs.gov and printed up transcripts of the last 5 years, had my selective service letter, had birth certificates of my kids, social security card, etc.--basically anything I could think of. I was asked for none of it, only what was on the yellow and/or interview notice. Same scenario with my wife. All the extra stuff wasn't looked at or asked for.

In spite of the rain, I became American citizen today!! :) the whole process lasted about 2 hours, checking in, explaining the procedures, rehearsing without family and then the ceremony. The court was beautiful!!!

CONSULATE STAGE:
08-11-2010: USEM received the case.
10-11-2010: Called USEM, need to send ASAP DS-230 and DS-2100
12-11-2010: emailed DS-230 and DS-2100
12-11-2010: Received Interview date
16-11-2010: Medical Tests
17-11-2010: Interview: APPROVED
23-11-2010: Passport received :)

USA
03-12-2010: POE Miami- Washington D.C (DCA).
10-12-2010: Applied for replacement of S.S
17-12-2010: Received S.S card in the mail 7 days after applied for the replacement
20-12-2010: Received Welcome letter in the mail (Receipt date: Dec 14th)17 days after POE
27-12-2010: Green Card Received 24 days after POE

06-11-2012: I-751 Package sent Priority Mail
09-11-2012: Package received
15-11-2012: Check cashed

Congratulations! :D Your ceremony happened not even a week after your interview? That's awesome! I'm in Kansas City MO and seems like MO processing times are quite fast comparing to everybody else, my interview is a month away and I'm ready for it, can't wait! :)
