I think Turner Broadcasting is getting more publicity out of this marketing campaign than they ever dreamed they would.

(Oh yeah, I wanted to add that I think it's funny the news broadcasts (at least around where I am) are blurring the extended finger in their news broadcasts).

They shut down major highways for hours. One of the packages did NOT look like the one above. It was all wrapped up in some kind of tape, had a wire sticking out of it - did not look like a game. I hope Boston gets the money back that was spent on recovering these to figure out what it was. I think it was irresponsible and stupid. Particularly to not get permission from the city. Idiotic marketing is what I call it.

It is not funny what they did.... it caused major problems for 1000's of people in Boston yesterday.... I hope they take the company to court and get back all of our taxpayers money that was spent making sure the people of Boston were not at risk from what looked like an bomb....

Boston was once again been thrown into gridlock today by what appears to be a copycat of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Terrorist Bomb Hoax.

This time the pranksters perpetrated what police are calling a "carpet bombing" of lighted signs on every street corner in the city.

"Frankly the scope of this prank is astonishing - we've got literally thousands of these signs that seem to have popped up overnight," said police spokesman Panic McDumbshit. "Whoever pulled this one off...there must have been dozens of participants. Hundreds. We've got a few leads, and we expect to make some arrests soon."

The lighted signs depict crude graphical representations of, alternatively, a flashing red hand and a white outline figure that appears to be doing some kind of dance

It was a circuit board with wires and batteries placed under bridges and major road junctions... what would you think it was???

I'd think it was a sign....and so did everyone else in Boston (and all over major cities in the US) for the 3 weeks they were up before someone decided it was a bomb.
